Jaecoo J5 EV Launched at NAIMA Expo 2025 at Rs 60.99 Lakh

SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Omoda & Jaecoo in Nepal, has unveiled the all-new Jaecoo J5 at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025. The Jaecoo J5 is priced at Rs 60.99 Lakh, with a special NAIMA Expo booking offer of Rs 56.99 Lakh for a limited time.

The Jaecoo J5 is a mid-size electric SUV designed to handle both city roads and light off-road conditions. It is powered by a 58.9 kWh battery paired with a 155 kW (207 hp) electric motor, producing 288 Nm of torque. With a claimed range of 461 kilometers, it aims to offer a balance of performance and everyday usability.

The J5 offers a ground clearance of 185 mm, a panoramic sunroof, an 18-inch spare tyre with alloy wheels, and a boot space of 480 liters. These features add to its practicality for both urban use and weekend travel. The SUV rides on MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link suspension at the rear. 

In terms of design, the J5 EV presents a clean, modern look with sharp LED headlights, a full-width tail lamp, and a roof-mounted spoiler. A transparent front panel housing the Jaecoo logo gives it a distinct identity, while functional elements like visible A-pillars and conventional door handles keep the styling grounded and user-friendly.
